“Hi! I just wanted to send a quick note about the Reliable Retrieve Course this past winter. I’m very happy with where I’ve been able to get him! I think the course is a great tool and is especially helpful seeing multiple dogs go through the process and their differences. It has been invaluable to me and I’ll definitely be revisiting with any future dogs! I attached a video of when we moved outside and to new location - I wish I would’ve taken a “before”. He’s not goofing around but happy to do the work. The guidance on varying pressure dependent on the dog and personality was great! You’ve got a great product. If you hit a snag at any point, you can always go back and spend a little more time on the previous step without losing confidence or falling behind. The course did a great job of creating a language my pup and I could share in the field. “I highly recommend the online retrieving course from Bird Dog eAcademy. Unlike many online courses or videos, you could post videos of you and your dog working and get feedback. William included videos of his techniques on multiple dogs and discussed reading the dogs' body language, how the dogs' reactions differed, and how he adjusted his response.. Most participants were willing to make their video posts public, which gave all participants a chance to see even more dogs and get even more feedback. The live Q & A sessions were great, and if you couldn't make the live session, you could submit questions ahead of time and watch William's responses later. Best of all, I now have a dog who loves to retrieve to heel and hand. He happily brings me all sorts of things he finds on the ground. Just this morning he brought me a mitten I had dropped. He loves knowing that what he's doing is what I want, and fun for him, too. The problem we had in the field of dropping the bird two feet from me had been corrected. Thank you!
